Tears of Blue

tears of blue
drip down my cheeks
as he asks
“whats wrong with you?”

tears drip onto floor
and i can’t
tell him
“you’re not mine anymore”

tears fall forever
inside a broken heart
so hard to fix
however

tears are words
from the heart
that can’t be spoken
and heard

try to fight
the tears with
smiles and lies
try to seem alright

i watch him leave
watch him slip away
how could i be
so niave?

its hard to see
him every day
his arms wrapped around
her…not me.
